Robison

Funeral services for Ruth P. Robison will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with burial following at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Jack Chelf of First Baptist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Robison died, Monday, Feb. 4 at Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale.

She was born Feb. 17, 1920 in New Salem Community in Milam County to James F. Holliman and Lula Lee Tuma.

She married Clarence F. Robison, Oct. 4, 1946 in Rockdale.

Mrs. Robison was a cafeteria worker and teacher aide for Texas City I.S.D. for 21 years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, First Baptist Church-Rockdale, Bethany Sunday school class, New Salem Homemakers, First Baptist Church of Texas City, where she served in the pre-school department for 17 years.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, painting, sewing, crocheting, making dolls and football.

Mrs. Robison was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence F. Robison, Nov. 19, 1998, granddaughter, Christina Senulis, June 3, 1998 and seventeen brothers and sisters.

Survivors are a daughter, JoAnn McClain of Rockdale; grandson-in-law, David Senulis; two great grandchildren, Bryan Senulis of Pasadena and Kelly Senulis of College Station; great-great granddaughter, Candyce Senulis of Pasadena, a number of nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
