Callie Loretta Adams
February 25, 1934 – May 4, 2022

Callie Loretta Adams passed away May 4, 2022.

Born Callie Lee Loretta Parker on February 25, 1934, in Shongaloo, Louisiana. She was the youngest of six children born to James and Estella Parker. Shortly following her graduation from Minden High School, she met a young serviceman, Anthony Robin Adams stationed at nearby Barksdale Air Force Base.

They were married in June 1954 and thus started off her life as a military wife. They traveled to every region of the United States and a brief stop in France. Some of her favorite stories to share were of the time she spent in France. Loretta as many of her friends and family called her, enjoyed every stop along the journey and at times being the strong support of the young family when Robin was called to duty and the family could not accompany him.

After Robin's retirement from the Air Force in 1968, they returned to Lompoc. Loretta worked for the commissary at Vandenberg Air Force Base and was active in the Lompoc Ladies Elks. She enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. In their retirement years, they enjoyed traveling the western United States in their fifth-wheel trailer.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband Anthony Robin Adams, Oldest Son Douglas Adams, parents and siblings. She is survived by her sons Gary Adams, Scott Adams (wife Jennifer), and granddaughters Jessica Baird and Kelsey Corn.
