SCHWARTZENTRUBER, Glenn Daniel

Passed away into the arms of his Lord and Saviour, unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital. Glenn was born 81 years ago in Zurich, Ontario and was a son of the late Edmund and Katherine (Bender) Schwartzentruber.

Beloved husband of Joyce (Lebold) Schwartzentruber with whom he just celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loving father of Don Schwartzentruber (Sandy), Sharon (Melvin Martin), Sandra (Phil Roth), Sheila (Wayne Kuepfer) and David Schwartzentruber (Rachel). Devoted grandfather of Kendall, Kyle, Tanya (Andrew Streicher), Evan, Danesha, Landon, Kaleb, and Launa. Great-grandfather of Brandon, Marci, Jessica, and Erika. Glenn will be missed by granddaughter-in-law Marilyn Martin, siblings, Ferne (Dennis Rabideau), Grant, Mary Mae (Finn Petersen), Nancy, Barbara (Jim Burkhart) and John (Judy), brother-in-law Ron Lebold (Doris) and by his many nieces and nephews.

Glenn is predeceased by his 2 grandsons Chad Martin and Jeff Martin, and by sister-in-law Edna Lebold.
Glenn was a passionate and committed electrician and enjoyed farming. Glenn enjoyed volunteering his time to many events, travelling, and taking part in a good book.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington Road 11, Dorking, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the church on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, with fellowship time to follow at Countryside Fellowship.
