Harlan Daniel L, about 76, died April 19, 1944 at the home of his son, Ross of Albion. He was known throughout the county and for many years conducted a general store at Kimmell. Surviving are two more sons, Daniel, now in uniform and serving with Co. B. 196th Training Battalion, 61st Regiment, Camp Blanding, Fla., and Roy at Ligonier; a daughter, Mrs. Clint Ott of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Sam of Wawaka, Fordis of Albion, and William of Cromwell; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Friday at Sparta Christian Church. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery
