SHELBYVILLE
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Jane Nicholson, 78, former resident of this county, who died Sunday at the home of her son, Forrest Nicholson in Shelbyville, were held this afternoon at the Wesleyan Methodist church in Shelbyville. The Rev. George A. Cole officiated and burial was made at Shelbyville.
Mrs. Nicholson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Freeland and was born in this county. She was married 57 years ago to Mr. Nicholson, who died in 1928. She was a member of the Wesleyan church.
Surviving besides the son are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Dwiggins of Indianapolis; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Delana Kennedy of Clifford, Mrs. George Hawkins of Columbus, William Freeland of Clifford and Philip Freeland of Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
