Margaret enjoyed being with her family the most. She always welcomed any friends Arlin would bring home at the last minute and share with them her homemade bread, koch case and deer sausage. Margaret managed the farm and ranch duties, keeping her six children in line (which was a challenge with Michael) and running the household.

Margaret was the manager/bookkeeper for Crenwelge Trucking and kept detailed accounting records for the business. All done by ledger and many times starting at 4am. She also delivered the auger/equipment when it was time to unload grain to the farmers and ranchers. Margaret would get up very early (4am) fixing Arlin a hot breakfast, coffee, packing his lunch and getting him on the road. Margaret spent many hours doing the bookwork for Crenwelge Trucking until she retired at the age of 76. The saying "Behind every successful man is a strong woman" was never so true as with Mom.

Margaret was a true pioneer woman making lye laundry soap, milking the cow, gardening, canning, sewing and making home cooked meals. She enjoyed family get togethers and having her sons make the pork, mutton and goat BBQ. She always provided for her children and family which were the center of her life.

Arlin and Margaret enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing/boating and going to the casinos. They always took the time to take their children traveling progressing from camping in the car trunk, tent, pickup camper, U-Haul and then finally a RV. Such good memories!
