Loraine, IL., Nov 12. -- Mrs. Ida Jane Powell, 76, of Loraine died Sunday morning at 5:30 in Methodist Sunset home at Quincy. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in the Loraine Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Ernest Francis. Burial will be in New Loraine cemetery.
Mrs Powell, a resident of the Loraine community 42 years, had lived on a farm southeast of here with her husband the past 13 years. Daughter of Joseph and Anna Meyers Haley, she was born near Columbus Oct. 13, 1886. She was a member of the Loraine Methodist church and its Ladies' Aid. On Feb. 21, 1912, she was married in Columbus to Elmer M POwell, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Wartick of Stillwell; two grandchildren, Lee Wartick of Stillwell and ; one Great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs Luella Herron of LaPrairie and Mrs Nina Thomas of Quincy. An infant sister and a brother preceded her in death.
