JOHNNIE D. MARTIN 63, of Troy, Ohio passed away Thursday January 31, 2008. He was born November 21, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Lester, Sr. & Lena (Shope) Martin. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, a member of the V.F.W. Post 9684 and American Legion Post 586, Tipp City, Ohio. He was employed at DAP Inc., Tipp City He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Laura; his children, Mary Ingles of Kettering, Ohio, Edward & Amanda Martin of Piqua, Ohio, Peggy & John Cottrell of New Carlisle; five grandchildren; brothers, Tom & Cindy Martin of Jacksonville, North Carolina, George F. & Kathy Martin of Galax, Virginia, Ron & Julie Martin of Medway, Ohio, Douglas Martin, Lester, Jr. & Rena Martin all of New Carlisle, Ohio, sisters, Diana Hays of Springfield, Ohio, Kay Keeney of Greenville, Tennessee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Monday February 4, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
