Jean was born at the Eye and Ear Infirmary in Portland, Maine on September 23, 1948 to Kenneth and Louisa (Mann) Trott. She attended Bonney Eagle HighSchool.
She was voted most valuable player in basketball in Junior High and High School. She was president of Future Secretary of America. She enjoyed every summer at her Grandparent's camp at Harmons Beach on Sebago Lake; waterskiing, boating and fishing.
Jean enlisted in the Women's Army Corps where she received advanced training as a medic at Fort Sam Houston, TX and then was stationed at Fort Jackson in SC; receiving an honorable discharge in 1969.
Jean was employed at Maine Medical Center as a Secretary in the clinic and promoted as Lab Supervisor. She later obtained her CNA Certification and worked on R7 and also at Milestone Recovery Center.
Jean was loving, kind and shared her love by cooking for family and friends. She loved animals especially her guinea pigs "the boys" Hans and Dieter. She shared her love of politics and world history with family and her many friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Trott and Louisa Mann; her son, Kenneth Berg; sister Allison Stetson.
