Peter Harrison, a prominent stockman residing at Lapoint died suddenly at his home Saturday night at 6:30 from an attack of heart trouble caused from the flu. Mr. Harrison had been talking with some of this family but a few moments before death came. He passed away peacefully.

Funeral services were held in the Lapoint Ward house under the direction of Grand Rasmussen. The opening song was "Oh My Father," prayer, Arthur Curtis, song, "Sometime We'll Understand."

Bishop John B. Eaton of Glines Ward was the first speaker and was a neighbor of the deceased when he lived in that ward. He spoke of his loyalty as a neighbor, of sincerity and of his high esteem among his fellow men. Cynthia Taylor then sang, "I Have Read of a Beautiful City."

C. A. Thompson was the next speaker and was followed by a vocal solo, "Mr Father Knows," by Mrs. May Calder, John N. Davis and Roy Taylor then spoke. The speakers told of his honesty, loyalty to his neighbors. They told of his educating his family and living his religion in an examplary manner. The closing song, "Shall We Meet Beyond The River," benediction by J. M. Reece.

Deceased was buried in Maeser Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Wells Ashby. The pallbearers were Frank Jenkins, Russell and Carl Harrison, Dan Anderson, Delbert Horrocks and Lorin Williams.

Colton, assisting in clearing the land of the old S. D. Colton farm.

He was married to Margaret Murray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah H. Murray, November 2, 1892. In 1895 he moved to Upper Deep Creek where he took up a homestead which is now a part of Thorobred ranch. Here he resided for fifteen years, where he was school trustee for ten years.
