Born Oct. 18, 1931, in Eaton, she was the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Armstrong) Cohee. She was a 1949 graduate of Eaton High School. Mrs. Brown had been office manager at Parker Poultry Co. in Eaton. She was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Willard H. Brown, on Dec. 19, 1974. Married December 12, 1953 in Preble County, Ohio.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah E. and Steve Tokar of Zionsville, Ind.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff L. and Kris Brown of Doylestown, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Joanne Bowen of Terre Haute, Ind.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 14, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Randall Brakemeyer officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
