LUXORA - Lola Ilinda Carter, 95, retired cafeteria worker for Luxora Public School System after 25 years, died Monday at Sells Rest Home in Matthews, Mo. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with burial in Luxora Cemetery. She was a member of Matthews Church of Christ.
Mrs Carter, the widow of William Andrew Carter, leaves two daughters, Wanda Jackson of Holly Springs, Miss, and Mary A Conley of Matthews; three sons, Authur B Bourland of Springsfield, Mo, James A Bourland of Winter Haven, Fla, and Jack Bourland of Victoria, Texas; a sister, Bessie Wallace of Lufkin, Texas, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
