ILLNESS FATAL
J. H. ALLISON
James Harvey Allison, age 71 years, died at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home in Westville. He had been ill since last November. Mr. Allison was born in La Porte county on February 16, 1857, the son of George and Sophia (Herrold) Allison. He had been a resident of Westville for 14 years, having moved there from a farm in Porter county.
On October 18, 1883, he married Martha Henton, of Westville. His wife preceded him in death in 1913. Seven children were born to this union. The decedent was a member of the Methodist church, the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. G. Wolf, Mrs. Otto Drews and Mrs. Scott Iseminger, of Westville, and Mrs. Carl Beach, of Gary; two sons, James Allison of Westville and George Allison of Gary and one brother, Charles Allison of Westville.
