Mr. Danny Boyd Parker, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010. He was 60. Mr. Parker was born in Malden, Missouri on March 28, 1950 to the late Ruben and Lenora Parker. He was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Oak Mountain Assisted Living.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Chancy of Janesville, WI; his brothers, Rondall, Bill, Dale, Gene, Winsell, Chamber, and Verlon Parker; his sisters, Clora Taylor, Vivian Anderson, Margaret Alred, Margie Norman, and Faye Norman; his grandchildren, Aaron, Corissia, and Corennia Blazier; his special friends, Penny Gann, Judy and Jenny Bonner, and Bobby Foster; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Malden, Missouri on a later date.
