Verlon Ray Parker, the son of the late Ruben Earl and Minnie Lenora Kinder Parker was born February 4, 1936, in Malden, MO.

On December 4, 1954, in Kennett, MO, he was united in marriage to Wilma Dean Cullum. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2011.

Mr. Parker died on January 18, 2016, in Sikeston, MO, at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Survivors include, 1 son, Tony Parker and wife Jan, of Gideon, MO; 1 daughter, Julie Crawford, of Puxico, MO; 6 brothers, Gene Parker, of Malden, MO, Chalmer Parker, of Malden, Billy Parker, of Malden, Dale Parker, of Malden, Wincle Parker, of Kennett, MO, and Rondal Parker, of Kennett; 3 sisters, Margie Norman, of Kennett, Margaret Allred, of Malden, and Vivian Anderson, of Malden; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Brandy Stratman; 2 brothers, Donald Parker and Danny Parker; 2 sisters, Faye Smith and Clora Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery in Malden, MO
