Mike Horn of Athens, TN. passed away at his home surrounded by his beloved family on Monday, September 26, 2022. He was born November 17, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ben and Dorothy Horn.

Mike enjoyed visiting Indian Boundary in his camper "Gertie". He always took his beloved cat, "Girl" with him. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings offering his expert "tinkering" advice on any project.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Horn; sister, Glenna Horn; and his son, Travis Carpenter.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Amanda) Horn of Maryville; former spouse, Shirley Horn; grandsons, Caleb Horn of Panama City Beach, FL and Jared Horn of Maryville; special niece, Traci Matthews and her family of Bethel, Ohio, several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Mark (Melissa) Morgan of Englewood.
