Paulina Rivera nee Barrientes of Stonewall passed away on Tuesday October 4th at her home at the age of 74 years.
Paulina was born June 5, 1948 in Rocky Creek, TX to Jose and Rumalda Salazar Barrientes.
Paulina married Santiago Rivera on May 3, 1974 in Fredericksburg, TX.
Paulina is survived by her husband: Santiago Rivera of Stonewall, Tx
Two children: Honore Lira of Fredericksburg, Jose Jamie Rivera of Johnson City, Lilia Mitchell Monroe, LA
Seven Grandchildren
Six Siblings and their spouses: Tomas Barrientes, Lawrence Barrientes, Felipe and Juana Barrientes, Lucy Sanchez, Mary and Domingo Castillo, Mercedes and Sam Sokolowski
Along with her parents, Paulina was preceded in death by five siblings: Leon Barrientes, Erenstina, Jimenez, Julia Gaytan, Eufemia De La Cruz, and Agnes Espinosa
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday October 7th at 12:00 p.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Stonewall with Rev. Jim Harnan officiating.
Graveside Services and interment will follow in Stonewall Community Cemetery.
A Vigil and Rosary Service will be held on Thursday October 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
Visitation for Paulina Rivera will be held on Thursday October 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
