She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jimmie Lou Fortson; her parents, Charles Oscar & Mary Myrtle (Talley) Wooten; brother, Crawford Wooten, and a sister, Verdina Smith. Interment followed funeral services conducted on March 22, 2006. Pallbearers included Teddy Barnett, Billy Bunker, Charlton Croston, John Kinsey, Morgan Mayfield, and George McCulley.
