Owens Cross Roads, AL - Fred James Hill, 65, died Friday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Cave Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery with the New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Hill; three sons, Freddy Hill of Guntersville, and Charles Hill and David Hill, both of Owens Cross Roads; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Kindler of Poncha City, OK; two brothers, Joe Hill and Robert Hill, both of Owens Cross Roads; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Tabor and Mrs. Lucy Maples, both of Owens Cross Roads, Mrs. Olean McMinn of Huntsville and Mrs. Verna Scoggins of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.
