Over the years, Dorothy worked in manufacturing and retail stores, ended her career at Holy Family as a housekeeper. Dorothy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, a past member of the St. Theresa Society, and the Senior Citizen Center. Dorothy enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul, playing cards and traveling in the USA.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Trish (Jim) Barbier, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Nick (Vicki) Dondlinger, Manitowoc, and Chris (Cheryl) Dondlinger, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Jeanette Junk, Manitowoc, and Leo Dondlinger, Manitowoc, and Jean Krentz, OH; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Wanda Junk; her infant son: Francis Dondlinger; two infant granddaughters; four brothers; two sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Grand Site, 1416 Grand Ave., with Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Placement of her cremains will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.
