Alice Jane Thielges

DANSVILLE - Alice Jane Thielges, 78, of Dansville passed away Saturday, June 27, 2004, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after a brief illness.

Alice was born Feb. 3, 1926, in Dansville, a daughter of Marshall and Mary (Vogler) Perry. She was the wife of John A. Thielges, who survives. She was a homemaker and mother of three children. In her younger years, Alice enjoyed picnics with family and friends, bowling on many championship teams and knitting. In later years, she enjoyed playing cards and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Alice will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband of 51 years, John, Alice is survived by her daughter Mary (Jerry) Bonalle; her sons George (Connie), Kenny and Mark Thielges; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Burt) Price; sisters-in-law, Beulah Perry, Marie Thielges and Flora Thielges; brother-in-law Raymond (Pauline) Thielges Sr.; a special 'sister', Doad Campbell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There was no prior calling. A memorial mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Church, Dansville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in memory of Alice J. (Perry) Thielges. Funeral arrangements were with the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville.
