Roger was born December 6, 1950 in Shreveport, LA and passed away at his residence in Castor, LA on September 13, 2022. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the United State Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H. C. "Skeeter" and Gladys Henley; brother, Terry Henley; and nephew, Philip Henley.
Left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Rosemary Coutts of Pineville, LA, Cynthia Henley of Minden, LA and Scharla Martin and husband, Greg of Castor, LA; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Josh, Joshua Rose, Chris Henley and wife, Julie, Malissa Glenn and husband, Justin, Kenny Martin and wife, Amber, Sarah Nelson and husband, Lance, Matt Hodge, Timmy Martin and wife, Amanda, and Haley Cottrell and husband, Logan; 18 great nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Henley, Matt Hodge, Timmy Martin, Kenny Martin, Jeremy Wiggins, Donnie Hodge, Joshua Johnson and Kirby Potts. Honorary pallbearer will be Dale Bogan.
The family request that no one wear a suit, tie or dress. They want everyone to be dressed casual as this is what Roger wanted.
