Patricia Stapler Jeffers, on March 12, 2006. Born in New Orleans on March 12, 1923 and a resident of Terrytown, parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. Mrs. Jeffers, a retired bookkeeper, graduated from Gretna High School and completed Maybin College. A member of Christ the King Women's Club, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Business & Professional Women, Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, America Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery Program, American Business Women's Association, and American Association of Retired Persons; received the Archdiocese of New Orleans Order of St. Louis & Senior Citizen Awards; and proud sponsor Catholic Charities Vietnam Resettlement Program. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph L. Stapler and the late Magdelene S. Stapler. Married 53 years to the late Willard M. Jeffers of Sylvania, GA. Sister of the late Guy H. Stapler and the late Robert J. Stapler. Survived by a son, Gerald Jeffers of Baton Rouge and a daughter Suzanne J. Farina of Terrytown. Also survived by two grandchildren, Stephen M. Farina and Matthew J. Farina; and three great grandchildren, Megan G. Farina, Rachel A. Farina, and Adrian D. Farina; and adopted families, Trung and Chot Vuong, and Ha and Minh Tran. Of all of Pat's worldly travels, the grandest to eternity has begun.
