Mrs. Arletta K. Allen, 68, of 2932 Jackson St., died Saturday at 9:0 a.m. in Confederate Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services in National Funeral Home Chapel will be held Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. W. Bradley Trimble, rector of St. Matthias Episcopal Church, will offficiate. Burial will be in Forest Park.
Pallbearers will be M.W. Finuff, A.P. Hardin, Frank Warren Jr., Neil Hargrove, John E. Anthony and O.L. Wheat.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Kings Highway Christian Church, Magnolia Chapter No. 27, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem and Order of the Amaranth and Cootiette Club.
Survivors include her husband, T.R. Allen; a daughter, Mrs. M.D. Rowland of Shreveport; her mother, Mrs. Cora E. Killgore of Homer; a sister, and six brothers and four grandchildren.
