Hockey Player. He began his junior hockey career with the St. Catharines Teepees of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1952-1954, playing for the Memorial Cup in 1954. In 1954-1955, he had a short stint with the Quebec Aces of the Quebec Senior Hockey League but spent most of the season with the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League and continued part time with the Barons until 1957. He got his start with the National Hockey League in the 1956-1957 season with the Chicago Black Hawks and continue to play for them in the 1957-1958 season. He was traded to the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL in the 1958-1959 season where he won the Stanley Cup. During the 1959-1960 season, he spent some time with the New York Rangers of the NHL and also with the Springfield Indians of the AHL. He continued full time with the Indians in the 1960-1961 season. From 1961-1963 he played with the Buffalo Bisons of the AHL. From 1963-1964 he played with the Pittsburgh Hornets of the AHL and a few games with the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. He finished his hockey playing career with the Buffalo Bisons of the AHL from 1964-1966. His total NHL games were 129 with 3 goals and 11 assists. His AHL totals were 628 games with 21 goals and 201 assists. After his playing career ended, he coached hockey at North Olmstead High School in the and then at St. Edward's Junior Varsity. After hockey he worked at American Ship Building Company. In 1976 he became the owner of a 10 minute lube in Northern Ohio as well as multiple AAMCO Transmission shops. He later became a real estate agent.
