A homemaker by profession, she was born Sept. 9, 1890, at Dagus Mines, a daughter of Elige and Anna (Ball) Thompson.
Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Slagle of Kittanning and Clarence M. Slagle of Windlam, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Maxine) Shields of New Kensington, Mrs. Abe (Elsie) Zambanini of Springdale, Mrs. Katherine Palmer of Buffalo, NY., and Mrs. E. K. (Florence) Morris of West Kittanning; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
Her husband, Clarence E. Slagle, died Sept. 18, 1953.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Pa.
