William H. Koehler

Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic Church for William H. Koehler, 58, Route 1, Berryton, who died Saturday at a Topeka hospital. He had been ill about a year.

He was born July 4, 1920, at Tecumseh. He had lived in Topeka 38 years before moving to Berryton in 1970.


Mr. Koehler retired in August 1977, after working 25 years as foreman of the Tecumseh Power Plant.

He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.


He married Agnes L. DeKeyser Sept. 21, 1940, at Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Douglas H. Koehler, Lyndon; a daughter, Karen Gross, 4610 Fremont; a brother, Matthew C. Koehler, 4330 W. 21st; a sister, Cecelia Marsolais, 3325 Fremont, and four grandchildren.


Mr. Koehler will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brennan's Funeral Home. St. Francis Circle rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. and parish rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Emmanuel Cemetery.
