Mabel Jarrell Davidson

Cochran – Mabel Elizabeth Jarrell Davidson, age 100, passed from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband Harley Davidson, on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Her celebration of life services will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davidson, born in Twiggs County, had lived most of her life in Cochran and celebrated her 100th birthday on March 11, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Wiley Robert "W.R." and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sapp Jarrell and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harley F. Davidson, Sr. and her great grandson Joshua Woodfin. Mrs. Mabel served her Heavenly Father over the years as a Sunday School teacher and song leader. She loved singing in the choir and also served in other roles in her church.
Survivors are her children, Judy Davidson and Harley F. Davidson, Jr. and his wife Verno all of Cochran; her grandchildren, Chris and Kan Davidson of Atlanta, Alanna and Kyle Woodfin of Hawkinsville and Emily and Tim Fuller of Cochran; her great grandchildren, Kayla and Cory Barnes of New Orleans, LA, Kent and Elizabeth Woodfin of Cochran, Leigh Davidson of Boston, MA, Ben Davidson of Boston, MA, Treg and Abbi Corner of Cochran and Harlie Corner of Cochran; great-great grandchildren, Zoey and Noel Barnes , Georgia, James and Caroline Woodfin; several nieces and nephews.
