Raymond Rondel Isaacs of Gladys went to be with the Lord at the age of 94 on February 6, 2022.

Born in Timberlake, Virginia on April 26, 1927, he was the son of the late William Frank and the late Dora Grogan Isaacs and was one of ten children.

He was the husband of the late Mildred Taylor Isaacs. They shared 64 years together.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon McCulley, four sisters, and five brothers.

He served in the Army Air Force for 3 years.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters Sheila Dane of Charlottesville; Donna Cheatham (Mickey); Lisa Isaacs of Gladys. He leaves behind grandchildren Nick Cheatham (Rikki); Justin Cheatham (Kelly Jo); Jason Isaacs (Karen). He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Serena Isaacs, Kailey Cheatham, and Indie Cheatham.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday; February 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM. by Reverend Tim Dooley at New Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Church fellowship hall where a luncheon will be served, and at the home of his daughter, Donna Cheatham other times. Memorial donations can be made to New Chapel Baptist Church, 1977 New Chapel Rd., Rustburg, VA 24588.
