He was born at Northville, Mich., Aug. 6, 1887, and came to Chelan with his parents in 1903. After attending school here he went into the hardware business with his father at Chelan. Later he owned and operated Chelan Transfer Co. before selling his interest in 1959. He continued to work for the company until his death.
On Oct. 6, 1908, he married Bertie Roland at Chelan.
Surviving are: his widow; one daughter, Vivian Lippencot, Chelan; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Emma Clark, died last month.
