Mrs. Highland, whose maiden name was Minnie Jacobus, was born at Green Oak, Mich., Sep. 9, 1862 and died at Chelan, Dec. 5, 1925. She was united in matrimony to John Highland at South Lyon, Mich., on Dec. 29, 1890. They came to Chelan in 1903. He died July 1903.
To this union two sons were born, Byron Grant, who died in infancy, and Ray Frank of the Chelan Transfer Co.
