Sherry Lee Terry, 74, of Macon, MO, passed away Tuesday, Aug 23, 2022, at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, MO.

Sherry was born on July 27, 1947, in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Elmo and Dortha (Welch) Terry.

She graduated from Lebanon High School and then attended Missouri Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Education.

Sherry taught at Warsaw, Huntsville, and Bevier and later worked for several years as a sales associate at the Wal-Mart in Macon. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara Lucas and husband Tom of Macon, MO; two grandsons, Desmond and Conner Lucas of Macon; one brother, Lanny Terry of Siloam Springs, AR; one niece, Season Stonecipher.

Sherry was preceded in death by parents and one sister, Paula Sue Terry.

A private family service will be held at Hebron Cemetery near Kaseyville, MO, at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Hebron Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, MO.
