Pelzer, S.C. – John B. Ferrell, 93, of 21 Adger St. died Wednesday, January 22, 1997, at the Anderson Area Medical Center.
Born in Hawkins County, Tenn., he was retired from the Kendall Company. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Pelzer Masonic Lodge #217.
Surviving are a daughter, Hazel Louise Ferrell Chandler of the home; three grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
He was the widower of Eunice Wolfe Ferrell. He was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Ferrell, and a sister, Emma Ruth Ferrell Sanders.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, by the Rev. Rubert Reed. The family is at the home, Gray Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
