Mrs. Adams was born in Leander and lived in New Orleans for the past 70 years. She attended Southern Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of First Baptist Church of New Orleans.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Adams; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held today at 10 a.m. at Roselawn [sic Roseland] Cemetery in Gloster, Miss.
Brown Funeral Home in Gloster is in charge of arrangements.
