Sharon Kay Gillis, born April 29, 1939, passed away June 11, 2022.

She was the loving wife of Larry and had two children, Andrea (Grant) Van Steenkist and Derek Gillis, and three grandchildren: Damion Gillis and Ryan and Jenna Van Steenkist.

Sharon grew up in Fremont, Neb. She was active in her church, Our Saviors Lutheran in Clarkston, and participated in the local Red Hat Society for several years. She spent many years working at First Interstate Bank in Lewiston, and was an owner of the Asotin Market and later, the Asotin Liquor Store.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Marian Ruwe, and her three sisters, Jean (Lee) Ritzen, Phylis (Duane) Miller, and Marge (Max) Kitzelman.

Services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m., July 19, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Clarkston. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family.
