Died, Sept. 21, at his residence, South Twelfth street, Abner M. Sutton, aged 84 years, 6 months and 2 days. The deceased was born in Morris County, N. J., and came to Illinois forty-five years ago. He was for several years city weigher and he had a very large number of friends.
He is survived by Mrs. Sutton and two daughters and one brother, J. C. Sutton of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Sturgis of Macon and Mrs. Howell of Newark, N. J. The funeral will occur from the residence today and the interment will be at Oak Ridge cemetery.
