Dr. Ian Keith Edwards-75, of Louisville, formerly of Olney, died 7:30 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 9, 2001) in his home.

Dr. Edwards was born March 2, 1926, in Spartanburg, S.C., the son of James S. Edwards and Georgina Waters Edwards. His father was a Methodist minister and his mother was a physician from Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Edwards was a graduate of Wofford College and Duke University Medical School, Durham, N.C. He was a retired physician at the Weber Medical Clinic in Olney. He was a member of Kiwanis, Elks, Moose and served on the Olney Central College board for 30 years. He married Glenda Melissa Josleyn Edwards Dec. 27, 1968.

Surviving are his wife, Glenda; son, Terrell E. Edwards and wife Suzy of Arthur; daughters, Darien Lee Hall of Olney; Carol Marie Edwards of Evansville, Ind.; stepdaughter, Jennifer Coble of Sumner; sister, Iona E. Sanders of Charleston, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Remains were donated to medical research; burial after donation.
