On April 19, 2022, God called Kathleen Betty LaJeunesse home.
Kathleen was born on May 30, 1949 and is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Tomasita VanDamme, brothers, Richard, Ronnie, Billy, Jerry and Frank VanDamme, her husband, Cristobal LaJeunesse and son, Henry LaJeunesse.
Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa Acuna, Felix LaJeunesse, Jesse LaJeunesse, sisters, Mildred Spalding and Loretta Arnaudville, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A viewing and rosary will be held for her at Saint Mary's Catholic Church located at 219 6th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM on Friday April 29, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. A dinner celebrating her life will follow, hosted by James and Francis Boswell. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Campo Santo Cemetery, Manzano, NM. Pallbearers will be Felix LaJeunesse, Jesse LaJeunesse, Richard VanDamme, Riley James Arnaudville, Toby Acuña, Michale Qunitana, Nathan Acuña-Moraga and Eylisa Qunitana. Honorary pallbearers will be Amaya Moraga, Valentin Quintana, Isaiah LaJeunesse, Alexis Acuna and Joey Arnaudville.
