Charles David Haworth, 78, died at his home in St. Joseph, Illinois following an illness of ten years. He married Carrie Harvey on 06 Nov 1900 in Champaign County. Mr. Haworth had taught school until 1901. In 1904 they moved to a farm and in 1942 Mr. Haworth retired and they moved to St. Joseph. He was a member of Friends Church in Stanton Township and the Modern Woodmen of America. He was preceded in death by a brother, A. D. Haworth, and a sister, Mrs. Phyllis Williams. Survivors include his wife, Carrie; one daughter, two sons, six grandchildren, and one sister. Funeral services are pending due to word from his son who is serving in the Navy. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Mayview, Illinois.
