Joseph Ardito, 85, of Bellwood, Illinois, died April 11 in Foster G. McGaw Medical Center.

Mr. Ardito was a veteran of World War II. He was the husband of Josephine (nee Vido); father of Domenic, Stanley and Robert L. (Janis); grandfather of Robert J.; brother of Lena (the late Benedetto) Del Re and Julia (Michele) Martiradonna; and uncle of many.

Visitation was held Monday in the Ed Prignano Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
