She was born September 9, 1959, in Durham County, the daughter of Patricia Dunn. She was predeceased by one brother, Mark Barham.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Patricia; her husband, Robert Hopkins, of Zebulon; her children: Rachel Medlin and her companion, Chris, of Hamlet, Tammy Barrientos, and husband, Rico, of Navarre, FL, Robert Hopkins, Jr, and his fiancé, Alicia, of Wendell, and Christian Medlin of Zebulon; grandchildren: Sarah Barnes, of Richmond, VA, Devin Wilson, of Hamlet, Natalie Hicks, of Hamlet, and Abigail Barrientos, of Navarre, FL, and Julian Barrientos, of Navarre, FL, and Nova Hopkins, of Wendell; two great-grandchildren, siblings: Edith Chambers and her husband, Redgie, of Raleigh, Brad Emerson and his wife, Donna, of Louisburg, Linda Hockaday and her husband, Randy, of Creedmoor, and Jennie Bailey and her husband, Tony, of Creedmoor; as well as many nieces and nephews and her loving pets, Cricket and Dyna.
The family will visit with family and friends on Friday, May 29, 2020, from 6 to 8 pm at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC. 27587. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest, NC.
