"The Rev. D. Bauer died at his home, 183 Lytton avenue, on Wednesday night, June 26, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 3 days. Mr. Bauer had spent his life in the ministry, having been a member of different conferences of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. He came to Palo Alto nearly a year ago and had been ill much of the time since. His death was due to troubles of an apoplectic nature. He leaves a wife, but no children. ..
