ELIZABETH TISSANDIER OBITUARY
Elizabeth "Libby" Tissandier, 102, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence.
Her husband, Victor L. Tissandier, preceded her in death March 14, 1993.
She was born September 19, 1919 in Westboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel Perkins Shaffer. She was a 1939 graduate of Lynchburg High School.
Libby worked at the Little Giant Restaurant for 18 years. She had also worked at the restaurant in Blanchester as well as the General Denver.
She was a member of the Blanchester Church of Christ. She loved God, her family and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Diane) Watters; daughter, Sue Ann Kratzer; granddaughter, Louise "Sissy" Osborn; four great-grandchildren, Chasity Watters, Cassady Osborn, Chanse Osborn, and Caley Osborn; four great-great-grandchildren, Presley Moth, Hendrix Moth, Journey Anderson, and Josie Anderson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, William Shaffer and Robert Shaffer, and four sisters, Mabel McGrath, Nell Welch, Jane Runyon, and Rebecca Wood, are preceded in death.
A graveside service with Chaplain William Sangrey officiating will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at Mt. Orab Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Libby's memory may be made to Community Care Hospice, 1669 Rombach Ave., Wilmington, OH 45177 or to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1024, Wilmington, OH 45177.
