Scotty believed in the Holiness faith. He had previously worked in sales for Forcht Broadcasting. He loved to compete and watch wrestling and also like to watch football and basketball games. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter playing video games. He was extremely proud of his daughter Meaghan and she was his biggest joy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lee Ray and one brother, Douglas Ray.
Survivors include, his mother, Ada Ray, his daughter, Meaghan Ray, his three sisters, Patricia Dozier and husband Ray and Chris Stockard and husband Rex all of Corbin and Tammie Wyatt and husband Rick of London, and a sister-in-law Nancy Ray of Barbourville. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends to mourn his passing.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. The family will have a private burial at the AR Dyche Cemetery in London.
