Harold "Sonny" Shores, 86, of Royal, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 14, 2007 at a Waldron Hospital. He was a retired truck driver, was a member of the Pentecostal Church, and a veteran of W.W.II.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God with interment in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.
Survived by his wife, Etta Richardson Shores of the home; one daughter, Lorene Hale and Husband James of Waldron, Arkansas; one step-daughter, Shirley Brown of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sons, Arnold Shores and wife Gayle of Waldron, Arkansas, Harold Shores, Jr. and wife Shirley of Waldron, Arkansas; one step-son, Ronnie Richardson of Royal, Arkansas; one sister, Loretha (Boots) Hathaway and husband Loyd of Waldron, Arkansas; one brother, Bobby Don and Wife Peggy Shores of Waldron, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Shores, two sons, Raymond Lee Shores and Buddy Shores, and Four grandchildren, parents, Sam and Vonnie Shores.
Pallbearers will be Billy Shores, Justin Shores, Randy Shores, Rick Black, Wayne Henry, Wesley Shores.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Hunt and Jimmy Hale.
