Christopher Bogdan Clark passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2022, while in Spain. Chris was born on April 20, 1995, in Odessa, Ukraine. He was adopted at the age of 6 by Dr. Eugene J. Clark of Stevens Point, WI. He graduated high school from St. John's Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, WI, where he was known for his academic abilities and tennis skills. Chris was the number 1 player on that tennis team. At an early age, Chris showed a facility for languages, becoming easily multilingual and graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2020 with a BA in Spanish. In 2022, Chris was teaching English to elementary Spanish students during the spring term in Briviesca, Spain. He was very well-liked, receiving numerous hugs by students during the term. After the announcement of Chris's death through social media, two church masses in consecutive weeks were offered by the students and faculty in Briviesca. Chris was a friendly and thoughtful person who cared about others. His interests and curiosity led him to travel extensively. In his travels, Chris developed numerous friendships in the U.S. and foreign countries. Chris was an intelligent and energetic person who had a positive impact on many people in his short life. Chris will be missed by his father and his many friends. Donations in Chris's name may be made in the charity of the donor's choice. A Funeral Mass for Chris will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. Stephens Church, 1401 Clark St. Rev. Jeffrey W. Hennes will offer the mass. A visitation will be held on Friday at 10:00AM until the time of the church service. Burial will follow at the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
