Ringgold Rites Held For Mrs. Batchelor
Funeral services were held at 10 am. last Thursday in the First Baptist Church at Ringgold for Mrs. Tennie Batchelor, 85, Ringgold, who died April 19 in a Shreveport hospital.
The services were conducted by the Rev. Calvin Hazelwood, pastor of the church. Conger's funeral home of Ringgold was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Batchelor was born Aug. 22, 1880, in Bienville Parish. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringgold. Her husband died in 1933.
She is survived by one grandson, Joe Batchelor of Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Bertie Bankhart of St. Louis, Mo., and by several nieces and nephews.
