May 2, 1934 - April 28, 2000
It is with great sadness we must announce the sudden passing of our father Gus, at the age of 65 years, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Gus was predeceased by his loving wife Marie; his parents, Philias and Florence; his three brothers, Antoine, Edmond and Louis. He leaves to mourn his three children and their spouses / partners, his three grandchildren, his three sisters and their spouses / partners, his three brothers and their spouses / partners, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad, "Pepere" had a love for many things. Teaching, farming and gardening were only a few. He was always glad to help anyone, especially his grandchildren. Dad will be sadly missed by everyone, regardless of how long, or short a time they knew him.
The family would like to thank the St. Pierre Ambulance Unit, Fire Department, R.C.M.P., DeSalaberry Hospital, and all the people that have offered their support and compassion. It is greatly appreciated and we can't begin to thank you.
A PRIVATE FAMILY PRAYER SERVICE will be held on Tuesday at Loewen Funeral Chapel. We would like you to join us on Wednesday, May 3, at 3:30 p.m. for a public viewing followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church.
Forever in our memories, Love, your family.
Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the DeSalaberry District Health Foundation.
St. Pierre (Loewen) Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
