Ennis Paul Wynne, age 88, died May 28, 2022 in Richmond, Virginia. Ennis was born in Charleston, SC on November 14, 1933, to the late John C. Paul and Marian Antwine Paul. Ennis' passion was children. She dedicated her life to educating and caring for hundreds of children across 3 generations in her role as preschool director and nursery director at the First Baptist and First United Methodist churches in Ocala. Her legacy is the impact she had on all those children and their families. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Leigh Wynne in 1964, her son, Robert Wynne, III in 1995, and husband, Robert R. Wynne, Jr. in 2010. Services will be held at Ocala First United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 30th at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, it was Ennis' wish that any memorial contributions be made to the UF Health Shands Pediatric Patient Care Fund as Shands took such great care of her own children as they navigated their terminal illnesses.
