According to a death notice in the Record-Courier newspaper (Gardnerville NV), Victor Arisobell was a sheepherder who died in Alpine County. He was found with a shotgun wound to the head, but the cause of death was thought to be an accident rather than suicide; possibly he had stumbled and accidentally shot himself. Record-Courier, July 14, 1911. The grave (like most in the Markleeville cemetery) is unmarked.
